TY BILLIG
Restaurant located in the heart of the lively district of Montparnasse offering 100% made in Brittany products.
Welcome to the little Brittany in the heart of the lively Montparnasse district! Hardly crossed the door of this restaurant, you will be in total immersion in Breizh country. And it is no coincidence that "Ty Billig" means "House of Brittany" in Breton. Furniture, the garden, the posters, everything will make you think of beautiful Brittany. And, of course, you will eat here the specialty of this region: the pancakes! A you onctueuses onctueuses, sweet pancakes as it should, and bolées of cider. All the products are 100% made in Brittany with good black wheat, real natural honey and ciders produced there (nice selection, no less than!). We have personally enjoyed Galette Galette in honey and crottin from Chavignol. The crepe with salt caramel is an indescribable delight for the taste buds. Not insignificant: you can leave with the Breton products you ate on site since black wheat, honey and cider all imported from Finistère are also on sale for customers. All this was thought of by the Bretons, as you surely guessed. And it's even a family case, launched and held by two charming brothers Cédric and Yvan Costiou, both born in Fouesnant in South Finistère. But before Ty Billig opened in 2012, they had already launched two first crepes that walk on the same street: Buccaneer (opened in 2007) and Les Les (opened in 2008). There are the same patties, the same pancakes and the same typical Breton atmosphere. And, since 2015, these crepes have still made a little! And Mary, the sister of Cédric and Yvan, who looks after it, is in another neighborhood, this time in the 9 th, and it is called simply "La Petite Breton". You will also find it referenced in this guide! Indeed, all these crepes are really unavoidable addresses in Paris, if you like the pancakes, the real ones, of course.
