A Nippon in the country of the Bretons, this is how it can be described as this little Parisian izayaka located just steps from the Montparnasse Tower. The room is cleaned and the show is the sushi-bar that it is found: the work of the sushi master impresses! Yakitori, tempura, chirashi, sashimi, sushi but also marinated octopus, sushi of coquilles shells… The raw fish is very well prepared, making Toritcho the canteen of many neighbours. In the evening, the à la carte prices are seriously increasing, but there is probably the best Japanese in the neighbourhood. The proof, the very serious Evaluation Committee of Japanese Cuisine, recently recognized it in the list of 50 authentic restaurants in France.

Arrivee a l’ouverture du service, rien n’a eu le temps de contrarier en amont le serveur autre que son absence innée de passion pour son travail. Pas de force pour un Bonjour, et ne comptez surement pas sur un sourire, visiblement le muscle ne s’active pas. Nous avons été recu comme du poisson pourri ce qui est une image peu flatteuse pour un restaurant japonais. Les quantités sont minuscules et le prix démesuré. Ne soyez pas aventurier sur leur dessert maison, même un chien n’en voudrait pas. Petite surprise finale ? Le serveur s’est gracieusement rajouté un pourboire tout seul en prenant mon paiement en sans contact. moralité : passez votre chemin, courez meme ! La chaleur humain du personnel de ce restaurant n’essayera pas de vous rattraper !

We also tried the fried tofu as starter, the sauce is so good with ginger and radish.
I tried boulette and chicken brochette, I recommend the boulette, it’s clearly made in house by hand, the quality is amazing.
They have 4 waiters, efficient. We wait around 30 minutes for our food, we arrived at their peak time at Saturday.
I will totally come back again.
