Canteen in Paris offering grilled shrimps, hearty mezzes, a variety of appetizers and kebabs
A chic decoration, a cozy atmosphere and a clientele familiar with the Lebanese gastronomy. The inhabitants of Lebanon in Paris often make it their canteen because the cuisine resembles to their mother's one. The welcome is smiling, the client is taken care of either they are alone or in a group. It seems that all the flavours of Beirut, Tyr and Said are gathered here. No false orientalism but a long menu like the Bekaa plain, which is not so bad. Castelatta, charwara, kafta khechkhache, red mullet, grilled or Provençal shrimps, sole, lahem or kafta mechoui, taouk chicks: The well-trained stomachs will be delighted as the mezzes are so copious and good. The lunch menu is a tasting by itself with a variety of starters: hommos, sheep, taboos, fatayer with spinach, falafel, skewer. Beware, as all the good addresses, it is quickly busy, so it's safe to book. You can also have your meal delivered at home.
