Mauritian restaurant guaranteeing a change of scenery with its decor and its mixed cuisine.

Palm trees above the head and paintings in the walls, décor and sound séga are the main assets of this small Mauritian restaurant. The mongrel kitchen follows… even though success sometimes seems to make the quality forget, especially this weekend. On the menu, dishes both Creole, Mauritian and Réunion: Stuffed crab, Creole boudin, octopus salad, squid doughnuts, smoked marlin, cod acras, Creole lobster or curry gambas. The poissons of fish, served with white rice and red beans, is very good. Arranged rum and punchs tits are obviously very good. On the other hand, desserts are simply not the speciality of the house. Booking recommended.

Accueil chaleureux. Nous y étions pour la Saint Valentin, avec un menu spécial. Les plats sont originaux et très bons. Bien sûr, le rhum est excellent. A recommander.

Ayant beaucoup fréquenté ce restaurant pour avoir habité la rue, j'y reviens 6 ans après. Rien n'a changé - La qualité des plats - le rapport qualité/prix excellent - l'ambiance musicale qui transforme la soirée en mini-vacances sous les tropiques
On y ressort le sourire au lèvre, et le rhum arrangé en fin de repas n'y est pas pour rien !

Salle obscure et sale comme les toilettes au demeurant. Musique bruyante, serveuse hautaine aimable comme une porte de prison. Quand à la nourriture elle quelconque.

Un restaurant agréable, qui accepte les grandes tablées sur réservation, ce qui peut-être pratique dans un quartier comme Denfert Rochereau. Seul bémol (pour moi), il y a peu de plats végétariens.
