On a quiet little square, a little way from the bustling Montparnasse district, La Cagouille is a table that stands out from the crowd. Since 1981, its team has been working hard every day to offer customers impeccable quality, both in service and in the kitchen. Then there's the atmosphere, the modern decor, the spacious tables and the beautiful terrace, which is always busy in fine weather. This restaurant is devoted exclusively to sea and river produce (no meat on the menu). A favourite among regulars!

Restaurant intimiste, en plein Montparnasse, très au cale avec une jolie terrasse.
Que du poisson (quelques coquillages), cuit exactement comme il faut, sans invention mais savoureux à souhait.
Très bonne carte de vins et service attentionné et discret.

Un excellent dîner à deux. Une carte sympathique, des couteaux et des calamars grillés en entrée, suivis de noix de saint-jacques et d'un dos de cabillaud cuits comme il faut (ni trop ni pas assez) et un subtil moelleux au chocolat à l'orange, le tout servi rapidement et avec attention. Bref, exactement ce que souhaitais. Cela faisait longtemps que je n'étais pas revenu à La Cagouille. J'y ai retrouvé le même plaisir que celui que j'avais connu.
