Institution in Paris offering simple dishes, duck, meat, fish and desserts.
A stone's throw from Montparnasse train station, La Maison Courtine has become an institution especially since the passage of Yves Charles who has also become a cutler in Thiers. The dishes are like the setting, simple, but perfect, from a Berry green lentils terrine to the smoked duck breast for the starters, through the Cantal mountain pork chop, bakers potatoes or a roasted cod fillet and bouillabaisse cream, vegetables caponata for the main courses. Nice selection of desserts, including a millefeuille with raspberry or apricots roasted with thyme and scoop of honey and pine nuts ice-cream.
