Parisian brasserie with a nice menu, classic dishes and a delicious salmon tartar.
At first glance, nothing would distinguish this Parisian brasserie located on a large square from another. And yet! This vast Café du Rendez-Vous, open at lunch and dinner time, has been held for 30 years by the Porte family, who has been able to give it a contemporary and warm atmosphere. Sébastien and Mélanie Porte offer a beautiful menu, complemented by wines of the moment - and even croque-monsieur of the moment. The dishes are classic but good, starting with this dried sausages and this salmon tartare, delicious and tasty! If the waiting time was a little long during our last visit, it's good because because the address makes perfect dishes! Ideal before visiting the nearby catacombs.

Sadly the food we ordered was bad. Ordered a chicken burger but got a chicken schnitzel squeezed within a millimetre of its life in a bun that was hard. Fries were cold and wet. Also ordered a Caesar Salad which looked ok but rather than being fresh chicken was also the chicken schnitzel
The Old Fashioned Hot Chocolate was great, different to what you would expect and a nice little bit experience
