Restaurant with terrace in Paris preparing classic or slightly revisited bistro dishes, matured meat.
La Vie d'Ange®, what a pretty name for this restaurant, run by Thierry and Aïda, who both attended the Ferrandi cooking school. She is in the kitchen, but he is never far away and they compose a cuisine with four hands which sounds right, made with fresh and carefully selected products: the matured meat is signed Hugo Desnoyer, the asparaguses are from the Landes, the imperial pigeon of Sologne, etc. You can enjoy bistro dishes that are classic or slightly reconsidered: chestnut soup with truffles, goose fillet, sweet-and-sour sauce, semi-cooked bitter chocolate cake and salted butter caramel. To match dishes and wines, Thierry, sommelier-conseil, has selected organic and biodynamic wines which producers he knows. The kitchen is open onto the room in Parisian bistro style, completed by a terrace of 20 places particularly pleasant on fine days.
