Brasserie-restaurant with terrace in Paris offering oysters, seafood, and Indian-style meats.
You should come at least once in your life to this famous brasserie, opened in 1927 and renovated in 2018, to settle down and to listen to the ambient noise, the clatter of cutlery, and to see the ballet of the waiters with their arms full of plates. It is a temple of Art Deco, decorated with painted pillars and pilasters. The dining room has been classified in the Historical Monuments list since 1988. The place has seen and still sees personalities from the world of politics, showbiz, arts, and letters, etc. The address is open all day long. You have a seat inside or on the terrace for breakfast, a snack, lunch, brunch, an afternoon snack, an aperitif at the American bar, or dinner. The menu suits each moment and each hunger. A wide choice of oysters and seafood holds an important place. Nostalgic guests will find dishes from the Belle Epoque like an onion soup, croutons and grated Emmental cheese, the famous lamb curry in the Indian way served since 1927, and a vanilla cream slice. In the basement, the dance hall is open on Fridays and Saturdays for dinner shows.
