Gourmet bistro at the origin of the notion of bistronomy with friendly service and appetising dishes.
A historic landmark because, although it has since been refurbished, it was here that bistronomy was born with Yves Camdeborde. Following in the footsteps of Bruno Doucet (La Régalade), now on the right bank, Arnaud Duhem has taken possession of the premises to perpetuate the tradition of a convivial gourmet bistro. The terrine de campagne is always there to start the festivities. This is followed by a delightful score played with fine products. On a September day, foie gras pâté en croûte and oeufs meurette were served with roasted cauliflower and veal kidneys. Beautiful bottles.
