Hotel in Montparnasse with rooms of various colours, one with a terrace and the other overlooking a courtyard.

In the heart of Montparnasse, this hotel welcomed Paul Gauguin and André Breton; two plates were even placed at the hotel entrance… In any case, they may have been seduced by the simplicity and prices of this facility at the time. The rooms are almost all identical, only orientation and colours change according to categories. Those at the back are quieter, No. 7 has a small terrace and No. 1 and 2, on the ground floor opens onto a little dark courtyard. The room and the breakfast room are cosy.

Je pense qu'il serait bien d'aérer les chambres où metre des aérations aux fenêtres car beaucoup d'humidité sur les carreaux de la baie vitré, mes vêtements avaient une odeur de renfermé.

The hotel is a little outdated, but it´s very nice! Rooms are very clean and spacious, bathroom is good size, there is a heater in the room and air conditioning. The staff is wonderful, always happy to help. Location is perfect! You can find many shops, restaurants, bars and the metro station is 20 steps distance! I recommend and will stay there again when in Paris.

Tout etait tres bien..Bien que la chambre donne sur rue, aucune nuisance sonore n'a troublé notre sommeil.
Seule la baignoire de la SDB (chambre 14) quelque peu etroite...

Camera piccola ma comoda per soggiorni brevi. Gli asciugamani sono cambiati tutti i giorni e in stanza si trova un bollitore con due tazze e due tisane e caffè solubile. Abbiamo trovato due cioccolatini di benvenuto ma sarebbe carino avere anche una bottiglietta d’acqua. Siamo stati bene. Il materasso piccolo alla francese ma comodo.
