The first dog park opened in Paris in January 2014. It's common practice across the Atlantic in the USA and Canada, but still a novelty for France. This garden has been specially laid out with hardy planting, a gate that opens from the inside and fine fencing, so that the animals are safe and none of them escape into the street. It must be said that dogs are free in this park and can play with others. However, they remain under their master's responsibility.
