History: a woman of Russian origin with red hair and voluminous hair who contributes to her appearance, Sonia Rykiel founded her brand in 1968 and opened her first store in Paris, rue de Grenelle. She will make the sweater her signature, the imprint of a terribly Parisian style. Consecrated in 1970 by an American magazine of "Queen of knitting in the world", it quickly invented upside down seams, the "no hem", the "no lining" in the name of a new fashion philosophy: the "old fashion". She suggests that women adapt the fashion of designers to their personalities. Sonia passed the hand to her daughter Nathalie who herself... launched a collaboration with H&M in 2009, and brought Lola, her daughter, Sonia's granddaughter, into the family saga. Concerned about ensuring the brand's international development, in 2012 Nathalie called on the support of the Fung family, another family saga, this time Hong Kong.
