GAUMONT ALÉSIA
Demolished and reopened in July 2016 after more than 18 months of work not retaining the carcass of the old building, the cinema Gaumont Alésia, designed by the architect Manuel Lyons author of the Citroën showroom on the Champs-Elysées and the renovation of the Gaîté-Lyric, offers at first sight a facade covered by nearly 60 000 LED as luminous points spread over a height of 12. m and a width of 19 m and independently controlled for the purpose of allowing the diffusion of images and light atmospheres: cinema before even entering the cinema! Inside: 1 364 seats spread over 8 rooms from 100 to 445 seats, accessible to people with reduced mobility, with lift and escalators to access and comfortable club seats even for larger and long legs! 4 rooms in the basement, one room on the ground floor, two on the first, and a large room on the 2nd floor with - not negligible - comfortable toilets on all floors. The acoustics are excellent and the screens are huge.
