THÉÂTRE D’EDGAR
With eighty seats, the theatre of Edgar was founded in 1975, two years after the café-theatre that bears the same name. In recent years, he has presented Dario Fo's exhibits, Crébillon Jr., a tribute to Bobby Lapointe and the first staging of Romane Romane. Previously, Coluche, Dominique Lavanant or Sylvie Joly made Edgar's loyal public laugh. It was noted that Alain Mallet opened this theatre as a real site for exploration, research and revelation of new theatrical forms, which will then leave elsewhere to flourish.
