Since 2009, Jean-Jacques Vally and Xavier Calmon have honoured karate practice in the ACSEMD's premises, at the Sablonnière gymnasium in the 15 th. The two founders, also professors, set the courses that follow the Shotokan style, the most practiced in the world. But both also offer an omnipresent opening to other styles. The aim: to challenge oneself, not to lock up, to remain alert. In this line, the club opened its contact Karate section, close to the Kick Boxing and Full Contact. Indeed, much of training is reserved for fighting, in real situations. In addition, many internships are organized throughout the year to diversify their karate practice.
