It is the great park of the south of the capital. The caves, waterfalls and winding paths of the Parc Montsouris make you forget that this plain was previously occupied by the quarries of Montrouge, then by a necropolis. Its unevenness animates the waterfalls and makes the runners' muscles work! Among the 1,400 trees - many of them centuries old - in the park, the ginkgo biloba is appreciated for the yellow hues it offers in the fall by the lake. The giant American redwoods and the Oriental plane trees are also eye-catching.
