This festival is proposed by the Association Française d 'Astronomie with support from the City of Paris, the Ile-de-France Region, the National Institute of Nuclear Physics and Particle Physics and the Laboratory of Nuclear Physics and High Energy. From mid-September, a set of activities is proposed on Paris and its region, with a round of lectures at Pierre and Marie Curie University, guided tours, evening sightings at Montsouris Park, comments from the Sun, competitions, etc. The purpose of this festival is to enable everyone, free of charge, to a foot in the field of practical and theoretical astronomy.
