MICEFA
The inter-university coordination mission of the Franco-American exchange (MICEFA) is the equivalent of Erasmus for North America. Since 1985, this program has sent approximately 200 students in 80 universities in the United States and Canada every year. Studying overseas is a challenge and participating in this program can increase your chances. However, you should not hesitate to apply in parallel to the universities of your choice.
The conditions of entry. Be entered in one of the following facets: Paris Sud, Paris Diderot, Paris East Marne la Vallée, Versailles, Paris 8, Paris 13, La Sorbonne (Paris I, III, IV); contact your college's international relations department; form a rather complex file (information from your institution's administration); obtain a student visa and health insurance.
Financial aid. MICEFA's main advantage is that tuition fees are covered (they are tens of thousands of euros in the US).
