SOS Chrétiens à l'Écoute, an association recognized as a church movement, is affiliated to the Vicariate for the solidarity of the Diocese of Paris. Its volunteers take turns every day to ensure a presence on the phone. They undertake to be as discreet and respectful as possible towards the person in distress, and should not seek to convince them or solve their problems. It is simply a matter of initiating a dialogue that will allow this person to free himself through words.
