The National Society for the Protection of Nature (SNPN) was created in 1854, its founders already being aware of and alarmed by man's responsibility for the extinction of animal species. Earth and life is one of their 3 reviews. It is one of the most prestigious research journals in the field of ecology. A pioneer in its field, it regularly publishes the acts of nature reserves, which bear witness to the intense scientific work coordinated by the SNPN. Since 2015, in order to further engage in an ecological approach, the magazine has deleted its paper format and now only exists in digital format!
