PARK OF THE INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY CITY
A park with a fine collection of tree species and a variety of sports facilities to discover in Paris.
Development of the Cité began in the 1920s on wasteland previously occupied by fortifications. Financed by patrons and governments, the buildings housing students and researchers are surrounded by a 34-hectare park, a veritable reservoir of biodiversity with almost 3,050 species of trees and 52 species of birds. Within this sustainably managed park, two buildings bear Le Corbusier's signature: the Maison du Brésil and the Swiss Pavilion.
