PLACE DENFERT-ROCHEREAU
A place full of history and connection between many means of transportation, being part of the nerve centers of the capital
Both a place steeped in history and a connection between numerous means of transportation, Place Denfert-Rochereau is one of the capital's nerve centers. But it is also a lively district surrounded by green spaces (square Claude-Nicolas-Ledoux, square de l'Abbé-Migne and square Jacques-Antoine) which leads straight to the famous Catacombs, to the Montsouris park, to the Observatory, to the Montparnasse cemetery, and to the Giacometti Institute installed in a beautiful Art Deco building.
