GREEN CASTING
Cycle path in the south of Paris, linking Porte de Vanves to the Massy-Verrières RER station
This green corridor in southern Paris, also known as the Vercingétorix green corridor, stretches from Montparnasse to Porte de Vanves. Its origins date back to the 1960s-70s, with the idea of a motorway project abandoned under pressure from local residents. Instead, in a spirit of participation, the city developed a series of green spaces, playgrounds and squares that roughly follow the tracks of the TGV Atlantique high-speed train line. An initiative that delights pedestrians and cyclists alike. The coulée verte continues beyond Paris, from Malakoff to Passy. A great idea for a hike.

Une jolie balade à faire, surtout au printemps quand les bourgeons commencent à éclore.
