Behind Augustine is Pierre Thillieux, Gold Wand in 2004. It is one of Paris' most important values. The local residents who can bite into his traditional baguette every day are very lucky and confirm it. This one is handcrafted according to the rules of the art, just like the other breads which are available with figs, apricots, olives... The pastries are generous, very good taste and very fresh. Among the specialities, Plougastel tartlet (with strawberries) and homemade madeleines are highly prized. As for the decoration, it is sought: parquet flooring, wooden furniture, enamelled teapots, and other witnesses of the past. Today, Pierre Thillieux heads other bakeries in Paris and the inner suburbs.
