Jean-Pierre Lopez has been established in the heart of the Montparnasse district since 1987, and provides a remarkable work of quality and constancy. Working in the middle of the night to select the best of the daily arrivals, he is on deck with his team from 6am to prepare the stalls of his fishmonger's. When it's high season, the Breton fish from Saint-Gilles-Croix-de Vie takes 36 hours to arrive on your table. A difficult job that he does with passion, even offering valuable services such as home delivery and a selection of take-away dishes (for hot dishes, it is imperative to order the day before). The eye is bright, the scales shiny: his fish is impeccable and the prices are nevertheless very high.
