André Bousquet (who died suddenly in 2019), inspired by the art of living of the 1930s, created Meljac, named after his native village in Aveyron, marketing a range of switches and sockets. The innovative idea was to use materials more noble than plastic. Since June 2015, Meljac is labeled EPV and is proud to be the first company in its industry to have obtained this mark.
