Built on the site of the Ferris wheel at the 1900 World's Fair, Le Village Suisse is today a benchmark for art lovers, bargain hunters and professionals alike. Despite its name, there's nothing Swiss about this village, apart from the memory of the location of the Swiss pavilion at the Exposition. Over 150 independent boutiques specialize in objets d'art of all styles and periods: engravings, clocks and watches, antique weapons, porcelain... with the added bonus of temporary exhibitions and cultural events.
