Nepalese restaurant where you can taste Tibetan, Indian and Nepalese gastronomy.
If the Indian restaurants are common in the capital, it is rare that people can taste Tibetan cuisine. Sagar Matha - the first Nepalese restaurant opened in Paris and which proudly always claims to be as such - takes us between Indian, Tibetan and Nepalese culinary traditions. The Alu chap, spicy fried potatoes and the momo, Tibetan ravioli with meat or steamed vegetables, will be an excellent introduction... The daal bhaat, Nepalese tradional dish composed of boneless chicken, spinaches and basmati rice and curry with Nepalese lentils, or the shamomo, meat ravioli or steamed vegetable, will make you discover new flavours, fine, refined and colourful. Sagar Matha also offers traditional Indian dishes like the tikka massala chicken. To end on a sweet note, take the Sagar Matha, mixture of fruit, cashew nuts and yoghurt. Finally, if you feel so inspired, you can taste the Tibetan tea with milk and salted... Finally, the brand also allows you to take all these culinary wonders, or even deliver them. L'himalaya which comes directly into your home: chic!
