LES CÈDRES DU LIBAN
Lebanese restaurant with glass terrace where you can enjoy hot and cold mezzes or the chef's dish.
Built for more than 40 years now, Les Cèdres du Liban is just a stone's throw from the Montparnasse train station. It has always belonged to the same family and guests come here to savour its hot and cold mezze which can be composed of chickpea puree, aubergine caviar, green taboulet, cheese in cream, doughnuts with spinach, cheese, meat, falafels vegetable meatballs, etc. Among the house specialties: garnished dish of the chef (3 varieties of kafta skewers, shish taouk, sirloin and meatball kebbe), chicken brochettes marinated in garlic and lemon (sparse taouk) or minced meat, grilled meat pancakes (arayes) will give your taste buds a treat. The choice of desserts is outstanding for original pastries are at your disposal and you can finish with mint tea, which is sugarless (rare), but good for those who are on a diet. This restaurant has a very pleasant setting for it exudes the South with its walls built with white stones, frescoes and some Lebanese paintings that reflect the country. The dining room is spacious and the glass-fronted terrace is loved by all. Note that it is highly requested and since it has only 12 places, it is expensive especially on sunny days.
