Bistro with a bistronomic cuisine and a short slate with a good quality-price ratio.

After the success of his bistro Le Grand Pan, Benoît Gauthier opened his little brother: The Petit Pan.
In a refreshing setting made of bricks, wood, and plate, there is a bistronomique kitchen in the southwest. At lunch, slate displays a short and efficient card to the ratio of rare value in the neighbourhood. From malt to olive herring to oil, 5 € bistros are the colour. Special mention for head-head cheese, steak tartar and homemade fries. Quality and frills bistro cuisine and tapas at sunset to accompany rugby matches. Up to the dessert, the Petit Pan plays the comfort menu with a rice from caramel to salty butter that doesn't even leave rugby on hunger. At lunchtime, very practical snacking formulas: you have a sandwich or salad yourself for a reasonable price. The rugby game nights, the screen spreads the encounters and troquet turns into a stadium gallery!

We had dinner the night before at Le Grand Pan across the street and, since it was so good we decided to go here for lunch. Sat at the beautiful zinc(?) bar and had wonderful attention from the two servers. We each had entree, plat, dessert and everything was spectacular. We both got the shrimp appetizer with a delicious terrine with rice and maybe quinoa. Then followed the flank steak for me in a rich red wine sauce. I opted for frites since they were so good the night before and I wad hoping they would be he same. I wasn’t disappointed. The steak was cold perfectly medium rare as requested and not a bit tough which is had to do with flank steak. Hubby had a lovely fish dish which he said was perfectly cooked. We topped things off with a rice pudding with caramel sauce for me and a panna cotta with fruits for him. All that and a half carafe of wine came to just under €100 with tip. Worth every penny, didn’t need to eat dinner.

L'endroit est sport vintage. Pour l'avoir fréquenté plusieurs fois, j'aurais tendance à dire qu'il manque de constante. Erreur en cuisine et service long peuvent vous indisposer, mais ce n'est pas chaque fois.
