Restaurant with a zen atmosphere and timeless decor offers a delicate, creative and attentive cuisine.
Discreet viewed from the street, without a sign, we could go before this restaurant without paying attention to it. Inside, a Zen atmosphere and a decor out of time like snow in summer, on an extremely clear chromatic palette, signed by a duo that we know well, Eiji Kikkawa and Shinku Noda. In the kitchen, Hideki Nishi, who has worked over 10 years in the Georges V, offers delicate, creative cuisine, attentive to details and the product quality, and very technical as well. Meal in omakasse mode, which will be the occasion to discover a half baked bonito in two services, here raised just from a few herbs, garlic flowers of bears and a slight truffle dressing and there on a shiso leaf, it is overcome with a radis salad and whipped by a vinyl flavored eagle on the yuzu this time. Also, a living frying lobster, white asparagus, asparagus puree, salt grains and a grilled Japanese grilled on charcoal stove (melting and lightly smoked) accompanied by a peas mousse.

This was one of the best meals we had in Paris (we ate at a number of one and three michelin star establishments). The food and the flavors were superb. The presentation on the plate was refreshing, bright and captivating. A breath of fresh air in Paris.
The dining room is open, bright and cozy. No pretention by the staff. The only nit is that the champagne list was sold out of any bottles that we would normally order (e.g. Egly). I don't think they have the budget to keep a deep cellar. We didn't look at the rest of the wine list, so no comments possible there. A wine paring option is offered, but we never do that ourselves.
Pricing was very reasonable for ingredients, quality and service. A very delightful meal.
A seven-course menu, the dishes are beautifully presented, the tableware is also exquisite, and the food is delicious. You can see that the kitchen staff is cooking with care, and each dish is perfectly paired with wine, thank you.
