Small brasserie in Paris serving daily specials, salads, meat or fish, French toast.
A small brasserie located at the corner of the boulevard, the latter is rather crowded, so we prefer the interior. At Basile, it is lively, from early morning until late at night, as it is also a café. No menus, but dishes of the day, and a quite large carte so as not to run out of inspiration! It's fresh and simple, good, and if the service is sometimes a little slow, you don't regret the detour here. Salads or quiches, meat or fish, we recommend. It's the same for the dessert, with a special mention for the French toast, particularly successful. Finally, originality with wines, divided into three categories of prices: low cost, eco or business. The art of having fun while always having an eye on the price!

Nous étions très bien installés en terrasse couverte, l’ambiance y est chaleureuse, lumineuse, avec des bougies sur la table. Gazon synthétique au sol ce qui apporte une touche de couleur ainsi qu’un confort.
Nous étions 3 et avons pris 3 bouteilles de vin blanc à un prix modéré.
Malgré notre addition salé, le serveur n’a pas daigné faire un geste commercial ne serait-ce même qu’un shot, ce qui aurait été plus que bienvenu.
Ils n’étaient pas contents car nous étions les derniers installés et nous avons mis du temps à finir notre dernier verre (pourquoi donc servir une bouteille proche de la fin du service?)
Malgré ce désagrément, nous avons tout de même passé un très bon moment entre amis.
When I came here two days ago, the vibe was nice, the waiter was considerate and the food was very tasty, that’s why among all the famous Paris restaurants I decided to visit here again today.
But today it was totally different, I didn’t even get a menu when people nearby who came later than me already got their coffee.
The waiter was just ignorant, I didn’t get any water until I asked for one (by looking at him for a long long time).
In the meantime, the workers were just talking loudly and placing (or throwing?) the utensils on the tables casually and loudly.
I then left a 4-star comment here.
After I finished my meal and got my check, the waiter said I should just tell him what he didn’t do well instead of posting things on the internet. Well, I’m glad that I finally get your attention by posting something on the internet, otherwise how am I supposed to talk to my waiter when he’s being so ignorant.
(He said that he did not ignore me. Hmm… he was busy serving other customers who came later than me and got their dishes earlier than me, fair huh?)
