Address in Paris serving a slate of appetizers, main courses, meats and Thai-style duck.

A classic bar made of wood and zinc, red benches, red and white checkered napkins, old movie posters... L'Authentique, between Pasteur and Falguière, has all the attributes of a typical Parisian bistro. Including - and we would have been surprised if it hadn't - the cuisine. On the slate, the day of our visit : among the starters, green lentils from Le Puy-green asparagus-poached egg, ceviche of sea bass-avocado-mango-passion and tartar of gambas with herbs; among other main courses, beef fillet tataki, Charolais beef tartar and duck breast with Thai sauce-fried noodles; and to finish, a hazelnut chocolate moelleux, a summer lemon-basil crumble or a rum baba.

Nous sommes arrivés avec un groupe de 14 personnes, le service a été très agréable, les plats synchro, le personnel toujours présent pour répondre aux sollicitations.
La cuisine a fait l'unanimité, plats entrées, desserts au top.
Seule la taille du fondant au chocolat a rendu jaloux quand ils ont vu les autres desserts très gourmands.

On y est bien. C’était un déjeuner par hasard. Un accueil « copain » et courtois comme on peut les aimer. La salle est pleine et on se déplace sans attendre pour vous expliquer la formule et autres options. Le vin est bien choisi et le contenu de l’assiette est maison, on le sent, on apprécie. Le brouhaha est sympathique et l’addition raisonnable. Un restau pour inviter les copains.
