Un lieu mythique avec un vrai décor de brasserie. La cuisine n'est pas toujours au rendez-vous, et on se sent plus dans un lieu touristique au beau décor, que dans un vrai restaurant parisien avec de bons plats traditionnels.

si vous cherchez l authencicite d une b onne brasserie parisienne
c est la qu il faut venir
vous trouverez les fondamentaux des plats qui sont dans toutes les memoires
comme hareng pommes a l huile etc etc
le service est tres bien la nourriture aussi sans oublier le pain
avec une bonne qualite prix
en plus situe dans rue du commerce tres commercante
a recommander pour amis francais et etrangers

Institution qui n a plus que le nom de prestigieux...service rapide et impersonnel. Plats lambdas...cher. Tres decevant

For now more than 10 years that I go to the brasserie " Café commerce" between 4 to 6 times a year.
I had a gourmet and generous memory of this warm place to dine in the evening with friends.
We are always welcomed very courteously. But the service does not follow, starters and dishes are not served together or even forgotten.
The qualities of food products however, I safe, but the preparation remains to be wanted.
Unfortunately the trend in Paris is more and more make pay with very average stay most fort dishes.
You can bluff of English and Japanese cooking about that will make illusion, but not experts.
Last points a little upsetting, it is still very unpleasant to retrace to order when you decide to leave a tip. We pay a touch of €270 5 for an average cuisine and a service that was not with the height. I think that a discount in question quality service would be better suited before involving a tip.

Here I hope sincerely that your hotel will do what is necessary to overcome this gaps and the purpose of this critics is not to kill you but improve your service.
