An address with a friendly bistro atmosphere where the chef creates fresh and innovative Basque-inspired cuisine.
The Troquet has its name with wooden furniture, its large slate and its bistro atmosphere. What we appreciate here is the friendly atmosphere with a smiling reception and a friendly service. The card changes regularly, allowing you to enjoy the talent of Chef Marc Mouton - the former second of Christian Etchebest who left his address. With a Basque inspiration, Marc works fresh, innovative, changeable cuisine. From dressing to sausage with grilled ham, homemade tartar, wild boar, or golden can, the card adapts to products and seasons. Pyrénées cheeses and black cherry jams are required before they are tempted by a clafoutis of pears and chocolate or a daring soup of strawberry vinegar in balsamic vinegar.

I chose the gaspacho de tomates (tomato gazpacho), joues de porc (pork cheek), and soufflé. Everything was delicious. The waiter was friendly & helpful and offered us a seat outside to enjoy the beautiful evening.
