Address offering dishes with fresh products, meats, fish, a seasonal menu and desserts with red fruits.
L'Épopée is going ahead with talent. Here, everything is made with fresh products; dishes have Burgundian and Lyonese influences revisited by the chef's creativity but they are only a handful of proposals, the menu is also made of dishes of French heritage and changes with the seasons. To perfectly start this epic, we choose a free-range poultry pie and its giblets, mushrooms salad with savory and spicy sauce. To continue on a high note, simple dishes based on fresh and seasonal food : roasted sea bass fillet, eggplant confit and chorizo oil, fresh fennel salad or braised cabbage stuffed with duck foie gras, Albufera sauce and mashed potatoes. The desserts are also mouthwatering such as the cheesecake with bourbon vanilla and speculos, red fruits compote, profiteroles with Madagascar vanilla, chocolate sauce or rum baba and pineapple tartare. To finish on a high note, Irish Coffee is essential to warm up before returning to the cold. The menu changes according to the seasons, but remain satisfying both winter and summer. Wine lovers will be delighted with a judicious menu and some other favourites especially on the Macon side.
