LE MARQUIS SUFFREN * * * *
Refined and intimate hotel near the Eiffel Tower with spacious rooms, library lounge, and terrace.
In a refined, intimate and timeless setting, Le Marquis Suffren is located in an upscale residential area which is not very busy but perfect for those who wish to be in perfect tranquillity or go sightseeing. It is close to the Eiffel Tower, UNESCO, etc... The hotel offers rooms designed by interior designer Paul Sartres, with decorative elements imported from Italy. Each room is spacious and bright, with warm colours and noble materials, containing an art painting which matches its dominant tone. Some sides in the courtyard are a little smaller ... Relax in the afternoon during tea time in front of the fireplace, in the library lounge or on the terrace on sunny days. A beautiful and prestigious place to discover.

I’m not sure how your onsite interaction was “cordial” especially considering your inexperienced “director” was not there. So many bugs. Reviews for this hotel are fake and inflated. The hotel sent me a email about manipulating my review or they will charge me extra. This is not a 4 star hotel. We got the executive room which is small, with no kitchen, a sub-par bathroom, and a desk. Our Staybridge in London was nicer than this hotel. They hold birds in the lobby in a small cage, it’s sad. We booked a 4 day stay and they only let us stay one night due to capacity reasons so we had to spend another $1,300 on an Airbnb last minute. This hotel is not even close to a 4 star. This was our first time in Paris and we won’t be back due to the poor service at this hotel and other businesses. There were many ants in my room on the table and in the bathroom.
The management also put the age of my child in a reply for the world to see which is a privacy concern as you can see below. They make excuses rather than accommodate their guests. Their booking partner allowed the booking about two adults and one child under 18.
Update: the hotel has now emailed us threatening my family that if we do not take down the reviews they will cancel our refund we received for the days we did not stay. So they will take our money for days we did not stay. Not great of a 4 star hotel response to concerns. That could be why the hotel is rated 4 stars, due to threats.
Update 2: the hotel continues a week later berating my family, now on TripAdvisor
Update 3: theyve now charged a card we didn’t even make the booking with, just the incidentals, $878 which is $200 more than our booking with their partner. This is fraud. I will not be threatened with blackmail.
Update 4: Hopper contacted the hotel and they stated they charged my card because my bad review “made the manager angry”. Seems as though the managers have a big ego. My credit card company classified this as fraud and removed the charge from my account
Update 5: The hotel is now disclosing my child’s age on other platforms and berating my family in responses to my review.
I urge you to filter to the one star reviews and look at how many times they have scammed people for money, booked two rooms under one persons name, and charged people for canceled bookings. Many people will be reporting them to office national du tourisme , by the ministère du tourisme for improper practices consisting of fraud and theft.
What they fail to comprehend is I used hotel credits with their partner which reduced my price. You then charged me regular price for blackmail to remove the reviews. So they overcharged me, on a card I didn’t book with, to remove the reviews. That is blackmail AND fraud. Confirmed by the credit card company.
