JUDO FRANCE PARIS
With nearly 550 members, Judo France Paris is the largest judo club in the capital. It all starts in 1992, when Jean-François de Pouilly, passionate about this Japanese martial art, decides to base his own club. Affiliated with the French Judo Federation, thus relying on a recognized method of teaching, the club has the particularity of providing its courses in ten dojos across the capital (2 in the 20 th, 7 th, and 12 th, and 1 in the 9 th, 13 th, 14 th and 15 th) which allows each member to have a a room near home. The teaching side is about excellence. Indeed, the club's four teachers were at least once champion of France. The courses last 1 hour 30 and bring groups of between 20 and 30 people together. After classic heating, the technical bases of judo are dealt with in order to finally leave the fighting open. On the competition side, the club participates in all the tournaments organised by the League of Paris. He even organizes his own tournament in May. Please note that children are accepted from age 4 (Baby Judo). Internships are regularly organised, and in July and August, the famous summer dojos gather daily judokas from all the Parisian clubs, as well as those who want to discover judo, or recover after a long period of downtime.
