AGENCE DES ESPACES VERTS D'ÎLE DE FRANCE
SVCS-Ile de France, a regional public institution, is in some way the armed arm of regional policy in the area of green spaces, forests and walks. It acquires and builds forests, land-rich agricultural land, sites of ecological interest… and ensures the maintenance and openness to the public of over 12 300 ha of natural spaces. The action of the SVCS is based on three priorities: to allow the Authorities to gain access to green spaces and calm and to strengthen the place of nature in the city, contribute to the maintenance of suburban agricultural spaces and the development of organic farming, preserve and develop the resilience and ecological networks, preserve and enhance the wooded and natural spaces.
