Sosfindevie.org was created by a group of caregivers and patients who wanted to promote dialogue with people at the end of life and in times of mourning. Sos Fin de Vie is a confidential and free listening and support service on the end of life. It deals with palliative care, therapeutic overkill, euthanasia, suicide, bereavement and support for loved ones. Through the site, the family and friends get explanations. Sosfindevie.org does not intend to replace either the medical teams or the families. It provides insights that help to establish a dialogue, to find the best solutions, to get out of certain dead ends. Everything is done essentially by e-mail so that the answers are well thought out. Oral communication is ephemeral and the words do not all have the same resonance.
