The group was created by Michel Leclerc, brother of Edouard Leclerc, the founder of the distribution department. A major actor in the liberalization of the funeral sector in 1993, the brand was acquired in 2005 by funeral professionals who have since developed it extensively and structured. The Roc-Eclerc group offers quality funerals and less expensive. Today, it has nearly 500 stores and brings together over 200 affiliates in France, local or independent entrepreneurs, providing over 50 000 funeral services and marketing more than 20 000 monuments each year across France.
