Surrounded by greenery, comprising artist workshops, this beautiful polygonal building evokes the form of a hive, hence its nickname. Originally, it is the "Food and Wine of Bordeaux City" pavilion designed for the 1900 World exposition. Saved from demolition by the painter and sculptor Alfred Boucher, he was raised where he still finds himself. Celebrities like Léger, Chagall, Ossip or Modigliani have lived and worked. Its rotunda was renovated in 2010.
