Located in the former workshop of the painter Marie Vassilieff, which is nestled in a green courtyard, the Musée du Montparnasse offers temporary exhibitions dedicated to the artists and men of letters that made the neighbourhood at the beginning of the th century - it has an important fund on the subject - as well as to today's creators. Reading evenings, concerts and conferences complete the programming. The museum also houses a space dedicated to works by Frans Krajcberg, a Brazilian sculptor, painter and photographer who works on the theme of combating deforestation in the Amazon.
