THE VILLA SANTOS-DUMONT
This enchanted parenthesis in the arrondissement is a treasure preserved with care and love
This enchanted parenthesis from the 15th arrondissement is a real piece of countryside in Paris. Bucolic and charming, this dead end is a treasure preserved with care and love. Created in 1926 by the architect Raphaël Paynot, the passage still seems haunted by the souls of the artists who stayed there: the painter Fernand Léger, the Italian mosaicist Gatti, the sculptor Zadkine... Today, the premises still house talented artists and their workshops. You will also discover pretty villas, shrubs and some cats that have made this address their favorite landmark. Many come here to take pictures, be careful not to disturb the residents!
