Located just steps from the Eiffel Tower and not far from the Champs-Elysées, in the heart of Passy's shopping district, the Hotel Gavarni was founded in 1907 but is the first independent hotel in Paris and Ile de France to be distinguished by the European Ecolabel. Xavier Moraga and his team have entered into a sustainable development and environmental protection approach: reduced consumption of energy, water and waste, and they favour local products where possible from fair trade. For breakfast, for example, there are about bios in sealed boxes to preserve aromas. Each one prepares his tea with the help of individual infusettes in chlorine-free paper. Guests can even enjoy a hybrid car with driver to welcome them to the station or airport. The decor is refined and inspired by a large bourgeois house in the rooms, the breakfast room or the conference room.
