It has taken some time and overcome difficulties so that the term'pilot'is intertwined with women! It is now done: women have a place in aeronautics, both in aviation practice and in professional and professional terms. But since it is always good and necessary to maintain this acquis (finally fairly recent in the history of aeronautics) and to encourage women to become so, one can only rejoice at the existence, since its creation in 1971 by a group of women pilots, of the French Women Pilots Association! The purpose of the association: to facilitate the promotion and integration of women in the aviation environment, encourage young pilot women and create intergenerational ties, and maintain the memory of the pioneers of aeronautics to whom women now have their possible presence among the pilots. In order to achieve these goals and to combine women pilots throughout France, the association organises meetings, internships, visits, outings… Ladies and gentlemen, who are not yet part of the French association of pilots, do not hesitate to join with its friendly and dynamic members! Ladies and gentlemen, with passion for aviation, you know what remains to be done!
