Starred restaurant offering a simple Moroccan salad, sweet, salty and spicy tagines, good couscous a la carte.
Ali El Mansouri, Michelin starred in 1997 in his restaurant El Mansour, is now well established in chic Moroccan furniture with a touch of contemporary without forgetting the sure values of zelliges, stucco and carved woodwork. The scene is set to rediscover the royal pigeon pastilla, one of Ali El Mansouri's specialities or a simple Moroccan salad, lively as you wish. Its sweet and salty spicy tagines are still as generous as ever and the mechoui garnished as copious as ever. The flavours blend harmoniously. Good couscous that can be taken away are also à la carte. All dishes are cooked in olive oil and low-fat. We rediscover Essaouira in another way...
