LA BELLE CHINE
Thirty-year-old house in Paris preparing traditional Beijing dishes, some specialties at good value for money.
Set behind a pretty red facade with a small pagoda rooftop, this thirty year old house with a refined and not luxury Asian setting, has created its base of regulars. Here, you can enjoy a Chinese cuisine at more than reasonable prices. In addition to the traditional Peking dishes, some specialities of the chef, all homemade, are sources of pride for the house: the crispy duck served with pancakes, the duck sauce caramelised with green pepper, the prawn soup with coriander, the beef satay sauce on the hot plate, the chicken with Sichuan peppers. The timeless pork with sweet and sour sauce is also worth the detour. On order, you can test an amazing omelette with ginger! As for the dessert, alcohol blazed rice is a real jewel. Ideal for the taste buds but also for the eyes as the presentation of the dishes is successful. In this area, it is very difficult to find an address of this type that will offer such value for money. If you want to eat at home, some dishes of the menu are also available to take away, with a small bonus on the prices. The service is discreet and smiling while the owner, Kim, is charming, as well as his wife.
