This distinguished Chinese restaurant - the only Michelin-starred one in France - is one of the two restaurants, along with the refined Bauhinia, in the luxury Shangri-la. At the helm is chef Tony Xu, a regular at some of China's top establishments: his Szechuan-inspired vegetarian cuisine, concocted at the Temple House restaurant in Chengdu, was even awarded a macaron in 2022. But back to Shang Palace. Here, his ambition is to give his guests a taste of the many subtleties of Chinese cuisine. He succeeds in doing just that, with an inventive menu.
